Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the CenterPoint Canada Referral Program (the “Program”). By participating in the Program, you (the “Referrer”) agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. This Program allows eligible clients to earn a reward by referring new clients (each, a “Referee”) to CenterPoint Canada.

1. Eligibility

• Referrer: To be eligible to participate, you must be an active client of CenterPoint Canada with an account in good standing.
• Referee: A Referee must be a new client who has never previously held an account with CenterPoint Canada or CenterPoint Securities.

2. How to Qualify for a Reward

For a Referrer to earn a reward, the referred Referee must:

1. Successfully open a new, approved account with CenterPoint Canada.
2. Fund their new account with a minimum initial deposit of 30,000 USD (or currency equivalent in CAD) within 30 days of account approval. The account must maintain this minimum funding level for a period of not less than 90 days.
3. Trade a minimum of 250,000 shares on a monthly basis within 90 days of opening the account.
4. Meet all other requirements outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
5. The Reward

Upon successful completion of all qualification requirements by the Referee, the Referrer will receive a commission credit in an amount specified in the referral offer.

• Nature of the Reward: The reward is a non-withdrawable, non-transferable commission credit. It has no cash value.
• Use of Reward: The commission credit can only be used to offset fees charged by CenterPoint Canada, including but not limited to trading commissions, market data fees, security locate fees, and overnight borrow fees. The credit cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred to another institution.

4. Program Limitations and Restrictions

Participation in the Program is subject to the following restrictions:

• Self-Referrals Prohibited: You cannot refer yourself. Any accounts opened using your own name or details are ineligible.
• One Reward Per Individual: A Referrer is eligible for only one (1) reward per individual Referee, regardless of the number or type of accounts (e.g., personal, corporate, joint) the Referee opens.
• Referee Commission Schedule: The referred Referee is not eligible to negotiate a custom commission schedule for the first three (3) months following their first trade. During this period, the Referee will be subject to our standard commission rates, as published on our official pricing page.
• Same Household Restriction: Referrals between individuals residing at the same physical address are invalid. This includes family members, spouses, or roommates at the same address. CenterPoint Canada may use physical address, IP address, or other methods to determine shared households.
• Annual Referral Cap: A Referrer may receive a reward for a maximum of twenty (20) successful referrals per calendar year. This limit is in place to prevent the Program from being used for commercial or business purposes.

5. Right to Disqualify and Terminate

CenterPoint Canada reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the operation of the Program, acting in a fraudulent or deceptive manner, or otherwise violating these Terms and Conditions. We may invalidate referrals and withhold rewards if we suspect bad faith, manipulation of the system (e.g., creating synthetic accounts, funding and immediately withdrawing), or any activity that undermines the integrity of the Program.

6. General Conditions

• CenterPoint Canada reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
• Decisions made by CenterPoint Canada regarding the Program are final and binding.
• This Program is void where prohibited by law.
• Participation in this Program constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
